We ' ve been around the block a few times on the thing any comparative analysis that is for sure. But an enterprising German blogger, called Caschy, was able to run a couple of different tests of comparative analysis on the next Orange Santa Clara and its Intel Medfield internals. The results are interesting, but not necessarily surprising.
First place we have the Rightware "Browsermark" test, which tests the capabilities of rendering HTML and JavaScript for the browser. The results are however as given here the Santa Clara of Apple ' s iPhone 4 s.
The other test is the test of "Vellamo" of Qualcomm brings together 11 features benchmarks which depends on a mobile browser. This time Santa Clara claimed the scalp the revered Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
The bottom line is always the reference of tests still shouldn't ' t take too seriously when judging a device ' s performance. But, ignoring all that, what we have is more than Intel ' architecture is potentially bringing something special to the table.
We shouldn't ' t be too surprised, however, remember these? Intel made the same claims themselves on the stage in Las Vegas. At this point, or at any point, we ' re not really interested by a score of reference. Can we just get the devices already?
