Late night poll: Has your opinion of the Samsung Galaxy S III changed?

Samsung Galaxy S III

After reading through some of the comments on our very own Alex Dobie's post covering the hype and expectations surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S III, it seems some of you all out there have changed your opinion about the device as a whole. Many folks never liked the device from the get go while others loved it and now there seems to be a change of heart for some.

We apparently weren't the only ones to notice this shift as MOTH477 in the Android Central forums has posted a poll of his own asking how many people initially thought the Samsung Galaxy S III sucked but have now changed their minds. Were you in the love with the Samsung Galaxy S III from the start? Did you have no interest before but now you want it like you've never wanted a device before?

Rather than recreating the poll here on the blogs, we invite you all to sound off in the Android Central forums. Hit the link below to register for the forums or to log in and participate in the poll.

Sony Mobile celebrates 'Night of Imagination' with Labrinth and iLuminate

Previously we mentioned that Sony Mobile would be taking on some new inspiration for the launch of their latest devices being the Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U by heading up a new promotion called 'Night of Imagination'. To help kick things off right in London, they teamed up British singer-songwriter Labrinth and a group called iLuminate who have created the world’s first and only wearable, wireless lighting technology, using LED and EL-wire.

The 'Night of Imagination' was quite a success for Sony Mobile with Labrinth performing songs from his latest album, Electronic Earth and iLuminate providing stunning on-stage visuals for the audience. If you're looking to check out some of the footage, you can jump past the break for a video from the event itself.

Survey of late night: on these buttons

The Buttons

We ' re all think about our next phone, because what Android fans tend to do. We know that we want lots of carrots, tons of RAM, lots of storage and all the other gadgets that go with. This evening, I ' s speak buttons.

He ' s three ways to go here. Physics of the old school, buttons, capacitive and buttons with ICS, the buttons on the screen. Each have their strengths and weaknesses. And we can ' t forget issues of the apps that haven ' t have updated with real buttons, this black bar with three points suspended there. Of course, fans of each kind and we are not ' t want it another way. We recognize the idea that there are ' s strokes for different and happy people that Android offers this choice.

So what kind of buttons you prefer? I wish I could find a phone with a mixture of physical buttons (a button dedicated to answer the telephone works well for me) and capacitive buttons. Since that isn't ' t happen, I ' d have to choose a good set of capacitive buttons. What about you guys? Let us know in the survey!
