Samsung Electronics announced on Wednesday that it has developed industry’s first 2.0 GHz dual-core processor based on Cortex-A15 namely Exynos 5250. The mobile AP utilizes 32nm high-k metal gate low-power process technology, boasting two times better performance than that of current 1.5 GHz Dual-core processor based on Cortex-A9. In addition, Exynos 5250 was architected to support WQXGA (2560*1600) display to reflect industry’s trends toward higher and sharper resolutions.
