LG Prada 3.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update now available in Germany and Italy

Android Central

If you happen to own the awkwardly named LG Prada 3.0, you can now take some joy in knowing that Android 4.0 is now available for download provided you're in Germany or Italy and have a non-carrier branded version.

Having launched with Android 2.3.7, the upgrade to ICS can be found by plugging your device into your computer and then using the LG Mobile Phone Support tool that is available for Windows PC's. If you're on a Mac, you'll have to find a Windows machine.

According to the documentation, the update should only take a few minutes and leave your device info intact though, a back up is suggested.

Samsung Galaxy S III appears on Amazon Germany, sort of

Samsung Galaxy S III auf Amazon.de

Guten tag, mein freund! A list for the Samsung Galaxy S3 appeared on the site Amazon German, complete with a button "Add to basket" and "Add to the Wishlist". Go to add to your list of wishes if you want, we ' ll wait. It ' not uncommon to see pages of the space very awaited new weeks before electronics they are available, or even announced, but there s ' s an interesting twist here.

This twist is the listed specifications. Person who ' s speak knows what they are and all that you ' ve read so far is reasoned conjecture. I ' ll say once again, in terms that can ' t be interpreted - the people of Samsung with the product who know the specs. They aren't ' t tell anyone and we ' re just guess and merge all the rumours. But as noted by BestBoyz.de people, Amazon is real specifications have to list to allow a pre-order of sorts by dropping it in your list of wishes. Here ' s what Amazon has to say about the SGS3:

  • 11.9 (4.7 inches) touch screen Super AMOLED 16 million colors
  • camera 12 megapixels with autofocus, LED flash and face detection
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich of operating system
  • 16 GB memory, expandable up to 32 GB
  • Delivery: Phone, battery, charger, data cable, headset, manual (Note: the exact scope of the delivery are not known)

I ' ll go out on a limb and say that at least two elements of this list are true - he will be delivered with ICS, and the "scope of delivery of are not known". For the rest? We ' re not lawyers. We ' specialists re certainly not German commercial law, no matter how much beer we drink or Knödel how much we eat. It is refined fuel for the fire SGS3 is boys and girls. We ' re will just wait until May 3 and discover in London.
