Samsung Galaxy S III heading to the US in June

We know that heading into tonight's Samsung Galaxy S III launch event, one of the big questions you guys had surrounded any US availability. We got a couple of answers that should tide you over. 

Yes, there is a 4G LTE version of the Galaxy S III, and yes the phone will be coming to the US. As this slide from the keynote shows us, we're expecting the first signs of the new Samsung flagship in the US in June. What we still don't know at this point, is whether or not this will be the launch, or the availability of the device.

For now, we'll just have to wait until the US carriers start to announce the device, but worry-ye-not American Samsung fans. This time around there won't be that long wait that came for the Galaxy S II.

Motorola Defy Mini heading to Hungary

It seems like not a day goes by when we don't receive word of another European country getting a Motorola device launch. Next up is the turn of Hungary, and the arrival there of the Motorola Defy Mini. For those not familiar, the Gorilla Glass fronted Defy Mini is both water and dust resistant. For some this could be a real selling point, but behind that it's a distinctly entry-level Gingerbread device. The Defy Mini will be on sale from T-Mobile Hungary and Vodafone Hungary from the end of April. Pricing is set to be from 46,900 HUF.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S may be heading to Rogers next week

According to a tip received by MobileSyrup, Rogers customers will soon be seeing the SE Xperia Arc S on the shelves. The Arc S is a slight bump from the current Xperia Arc that Rogers now offers with it's 1.4 GHz Qualcomm processor, and it's pretty likely that this will be the last Sony Ericsson branded device to hit North America now that Sony is sole owner of the name and franchisee. The Arc S is a lovely handset, and with Sony releasing a beta version of Ice Cream Sandwich already, it's going to be a fun one to play with. 

While it's always just a rumor until Rogers says differently, expect to see the Arc S next week with a possible price point of $30 (CAD) on a 3-year contract, or $475 (CAD) outright.
