Rogers hasn't had a great track record thus far of keeping folks in the loop when it comes to Ice Cream Sandwich updates but at least two of the devices in their lineup are now getting ICS rolled out to them via OTA. Owners of either the HTC Raider or EVO 3D can go ahead and check for updates and now find Android 4.0 available. The update should only take a few minutes to load up and then you'll be good to go with Ice Cream Sandwich.

The LG Optimus L7 has already made its way to Europe and Asia and now it has appeared online for Canadians via the Future Shop website. There is still no actual release date listed for the high-end model of the L series phones but we do know with it you'll be getting 4.3-inch screen and running a new Android 4.0 based Optimus UI. We'll keep our eyes on this one and let you all know when they fully go live on Rogers and Fido. Until then check out our hands on with the device from Mobile World Congress.

Remember a few days ago when an ad for Rogers popped up, seemingly to proclaim their version of the Samsung Galaxy S III would come with the Exynos processor and LTE? Well, we still don't have a definitive answer on whether or not the ad was accurate but we do know now that we're at least one step closer to finding out.
A news bulletin has been sent out to Rogers employee's letting them all know the obvious and confirmed -- the Samsung Galaxy S III is coming to Rogers very soon. Needless to say, we'll keep digging for clarification which shouldn't take too much longer now that Rogers is relaying information internally.
As expected, Rogers ' LTE version of the x a HTC is now available to order online. The Canadian version of the HTC ' Lighthouse news is available from Rogers off-contract for C$ 624.99, or C$ 169.99 with a three-year service agreement. X a LTE, known internationally as the HTC a XL, swaps his chip Tegra 3 of quad-core to a dual-core Snapdragon S4 as the Tegra 3 not ' t currently play nice with LTE. Nevertheless, we ' ve was impressed by the S4 ' s performance in other phones, including the x a ' brother of 4.3 inches of s, the HTC a S, so don ' t dismiss the count of base only.
To United States, this version will launch on AT & t may 6, for $199 on a two year contract.

Over the past few months, Rogers has been rapidly deploying LTE throughout Canada and today, they've gone ahead and announced two new regions that are LTE enabled. The cities of Halifax and Calgary are the latest additions to Rogers LTE offerings.
“We’re thrilled to offer our LTE network to even more Canadians in the east and the west,” said John Boynton, Rogers Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Now, Calgarians and Haligonians can enjoy the benefits of speeds on their mobile devices comparable to what they would get at home. And, they can do it on an LTE network that is Canada’s fastest and largest for a robust and reliable experience.”
Given that I personally live in Halifax, I find this to be great news but even better then the addition of LTE is the fact that Rogers will also soon be adding the HTC One X to their device lineup. This will of course build on their already existing LTE device offerings such as the HTC Raider, Samsung Galaxy S II LTE and the Samsung Galaxy Note. According to a tip received by MobileSyrup, Rogers customers will soon be seeing the SE Xperia Arc S on the shelves. The Arc S is a slight bump from the current Xperia Arc that Rogers now offers with it's 1.4 GHz Qualcomm processor, and it's pretty likely that this will be the last Sony Ericsson branded device to hit North America now that Sony is sole owner of the name and franchisee. The Arc S is a lovely handset, and with Sony releasing a beta version of Ice Cream Sandwich already, it's going to be a fun one to play with.
While it's always just a rumor until Rogers says differently, expect to see the Arc S next week with a possible price point of $30 (CAD) on a 3-year contract, or $475 (CAD) outright.
