Practice with the Excite Toshiba tablets

Toshiba has been here in New York this evening showing some of its finest new technology, including its next line Excite of the tablets. Although we have already had a look at tablets this year ' s Mobile World Congress, it ' s always fun for us to return to the upcoming devices. The three models were on hand this evening - the 7.7 inches, 10 inches and the giant 13.3 inches. All three are packing a Tegra 3 processor under the hood, and all will be delivered with Ice Cream Sandwich. They also share a 5 megapixel rear camera, a coating before 2 megapixel, a Gorilla Glass coating and a remarkably thin and slender profile.

The screens differ in size and resolution - model 7.7 inches ' s received the highest ppi of 196 because its AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800, while the 10-incher has a ppi 149 slightly low with identical resolution (LED, not AMOLED technology on it). The 13.3-inch (did we mention this is what size?) uses "Autobrite LED" technology that ups the resolution of 1600 x 900, which translates 138 ppi. Not much bad to say about the poster; While they were not the best in the biz, they ' re bright, crisp and surprisingly dynamic.

I love the Excite 7.7 inches - he ' s display to beat, and the footprint is perfect. Use with one hand or both; In any event, it ' go s to fit comfortably. The 10 inch is nothing to write home about (I ' ve view of many in my day), leaving the model of 13.3 inches, the star of the series. He ' s big and beautiful, though the size and weight can disable some. 2.2 Books, this certainly isn't a ' go t in your pocket. Toshiba described as a bridge between the Tablet and laptop computers, a description that ' s pretty darn accurate. There ' ll be perfect for watching films and television, but if you ' re used to do things with a hand on your shelf, this is not the device for you.

The 10-inch model will launch on May 6: 16 GB will cost you $449.99, while that 32 and 64 GB will set you back $529.99 and $649.99 respectively. You ' ll had to wait until June 10 for models 7.7 and 13.3 inch: the will of the smaller cost $499.99 and $579.00 for 16 and 32 GB, more will cost $649.99 and $749.99 for the same size. Practice with the LG Optimus Elite

Sprint and LG were tonight ' s Pepcom event in New York, where the theme was the eco-technologies. On hand was the next Optimus Elite, the "green" entry device provided for output on 22 April. The elite will not be the aircraft of your dreams, but for $29.99 on the contract, it really isn ' t much here to complain.

The elite ' s got display of 3.5 inches with a resolution of 320 x 480 - if you ' ve gotten used to a HD display, this ' will s want a handgun in the front. He ' the s processor a single-core 800 Mhz gingerbread of pumping under the hood and a camera of 5 megapixels in the back. The elite is NFC-enabled, which means that you ' ll have access to Google Wallet without breaking your wallet. It performance wise ' s nothing really remarkable, not y anything disappointing. I do ' t notice slowdowns or the stutters, but if you ' re trying to do some heavy weight calculation, look elsewhere. The elite will be available in two colors: white and silver titan.

The elite will launch on Sprint.com on earth day - release for this Platinum ULE and device certified CarbonFree date a fitting. If you want a pick up in stores, you ' it had to wait until May 18. OH and if prepaid is your flavor favorite, you ' re chance - the elite will visit the Virigin Mobile in the near future, but how close did not yet announced. Practice with the Onkyo Android app

So I rearranged my living room last weekend and decided to withdraw from my old receiver for 9 years (gasp). Wasn ' t research to spend a fortune, but sound surround is a must, Internet access is a plus. Finished with the Wirecutter ' s recommendation of the Onkyo TX-NR509. He ' s received a rear Ethernet port (If ' s how restore you), or an optional Wifi dongle that plugs into USB port before and as a bonus, a companion application Android.

Let ' s really start to say that the audio House is something very personal and quirky, and your configuration will determine the usefulness of features. I ' have a Xbox 360 and a review of Logitech to manage most of my multimedia works, it ' s a good few that ' s in PAP Onkyo - specifically the reading of music - that I ' ll never use. You ' well enough to have distance full capacity, including the switching of the entries and sources. The app ' s provision ' s fairly intuitive, as are the settings. I ' m not walk you through them that, even once, your installation vary mine and it is likely that you ' re a good nerd can do it yourself.

(I ' ll mentioned that the Onkyo has things like radio Internet and DLNA streaming, which is nice, but the on-screen interfaces user is so horrible that you ' ll probably won't touch.)

No, the only bright side of the Onkyo Android app - for me, anyway, is the possibility of changing the volume of another piece. I ' ve got children. Two of ' em. The eldest is 5, and she can rock the Logitech Harmony One remote to get his Dora. But it has ' s is also deaf, I ' m satisfied, because the TV will be stronger and stronger as she looks. With the Onkyo app, it ' s not get up until I ' m to make. No more arguing. I'm just the damn thing down and no ' the wisest s. (I can do the same thing with the Google TV Remote app, by the way in which.)

So that ' s what I ' m switches now in the living room, and like. (And it's good, too). Onkyo said the app ' s compatible with all network AV receivers out from 2010, and the stereo receiver TX-8050 and the Stereo Tuner T-4070 network network. It may need to do a firmware update (mine took about 5 minutes) to keep things in place.

Review video and initial practice of Sony Xperia

It ' since a few days we have wrapped Mobile World Congress, but we ' re already see the first launch of phone flagship of the year. Sony Xperia S out unexpectedly to the Sony store in Barcelona last Sunday and it ' ll are on sale across Europe in the coming weeks. For 2012, Sony - Sony Ericsson - formerly made a clean break with the appearance of previous models, by adopting a new design language based around the clear brand bar below the screen. Sony ' s has also introduced a new material impressive in his last high range apparatus which includes the new view of reality of HD 720 p and a 12 megapixel EXMOR R camera.

Practice with the Android 4.0 LTE phones two of the ZTE - PF200 and N910

Forward to Mobile World Congress 2012, ZTE had announced two phones LTE Ice Cream Sandwich running, and we had the chance to play with at least a unit of work in Barcelona. A rep at the booth of ETZ told me that two of these phones are falling of the North America, but in view of the significant language barrier, they may have been mistaken.

Samsung Galaxy Beam - practice with pico projection of goodness

Phil got his mitts on the Samsung Galaxy Beam to Mobile World Congress 2012, but he ' s certainly helpful to see the projector in action.

Just to recap, the Samsung Galaxy Beam is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a processor dual core 1 GHz, 768 MB RAM, 8 GB of local storage, display WVGA of 4 inches and a 2000 mAh battery to keep the projector humming along.

Outside of the professionals who need to do a lot of presentations in the field, I could see the beam is a good choice for those who tend to watch the video before going to bed. just plug in, it prop in a stand and projecting some asleep on ceilings. He ' s still a quite specific breed, well; are you excited guys especially on a fresh device with a projector? The last time that we saw a smartphone remotely, as it was The Expo of LG.
