The latest version of the Droid series is the Droid 4 which is still based upon the primary strengths of the whole series i.e. it’s crucial performance backbone and even better craftsmanship.

The Verizon Motorola Droid 4 is available at a highly effective rate of US$199 which puts it ahead of many of its competitors. Here are some specific highlights of the new Droid 4.

Verizon Motorola Droid 4: Hardware

The Verizon Motorola Droid 4 is one of the best QWERTY phones in the market in terms of its hardware. The Droid 4 boasts of a dual core processor for greater performance, ample RAM for any businessman, a huge screen for greater visibility and an unbelievable LTE system. In a nutshell, the Droid 4 is an improvement on the previous Droid variant while maintaining the core functions.

Verizon Motorola Droid 4: LTE network

LTE networks are gradually becoming famous even amongst people who are not very technology savvy. The reason is simply that LTE is the wave of the future. LTE networks are extremely fast even when compared to 3G networks, which mainly means that files can be sent and received at lightening speeds. Verizon was the first to introduce LTE but the rest of the major carriers are also due to launch their own versions soon.

If it is a QWERTY phone then it is important for one to consider the quality of its slide out keyboard. The slide out keyboard of the Droid 4 is almost perfect. Furthermore, the layout of the keyboard on the Droid 4 also deserves a mention along with the labeling which is also highly effective.

A Brief Overview of the HTC One X

The HTC One X is the first phone in the market to feature the groundbreaking CPU from Nvidia, Tegra 3. Needless to say, this single fact has brought the HTC One X a lot of attention from the masses as well as the experts and analysts of the Android world.

As is natural, a review of the HTC One X with its smashing Tegra 3 CPU was in order. The following is a list of the positives and negatives of this phone.

HTC One X: The Positives

  1. A design that blends in the two foundations of a good phone i.e. beauty and durability.
  2. An especially large screen that is big as well as bright. The screen has wonderful viewing angles but tends to be difficult to see outdoors.
  3. The user interface of Sense 4.0 is an improvement on its already special previous version.
  4. The camera of the HTC One X also deserves a mention not only in terms of the quality of the photos in question but also the speed with which it can be opened and used.
  5. The battery life of the HTC One X should also be commended.
  6. The performance of the HTC One X is a class apart as there are barely any glitches in its usage, even while running heavy duty applications and websites.

HTC One X: The Negatives

  1. Aesthetically, the phone could have avoided putting buttons in the screen particularly as there are capacitive buttons on it.
  2. The HTC One X can get fussy with apps such as Pandora and Speedtest.
  3. The size of the phone’s screen also turns out to be one of its bigger weaknesses. The phone is 4.7 inches big which basically means that any average individual would have trouble operating the phone with a single hand.
  4. The sound output of the phone is only mediocre and does not whet the appetite, whether on headphones or speakers.
  5. There should have been a feature for expandable storage, which can put off some people.
  6. There are also reports of the HTC One X having display issues such as continuous flickering of the screen.

The HTC One X with its Tegra 3 CPU, in a nutshell, is one of the best Android phones on the market.
