LG Viper available for preorder today for $99, officially in stores April 22

As promised, the Sprint LG Viper 4G LTE is available for preorder today for $99. (That's on a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.) In exchange for that Benjamin you'll get a 4-inch NOVA display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 5MP camera, NFC radio and Sprint ID, plus eventual 4G LTE data on Sprint's fledgling 4G LTE network. Plus, you'll get 50GB of online storage from Box.

Sprint's website says it'll "do our best to get it to you before Sunday, April 22," which suggests that'll be the official in-store date. So, who's in?

Update: Sprint's just made it official, saying it'll definitely be in stores on Sunday, and that preorders may arrive as early as April 20.

Sprint announces the 'eco-friendly' Optimus Elite, available April 22 for $29.99

Today Sprint has announced that soon they will have their third Eco-Friendly device on the market, and it is again from LG. The LG Optimus Elite will be available on April 22, which is Earth Day, for a very favorable price of only $29.99 on contract. Featuring a 3.5-inch display, an 800 MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and more, this device looks to pack a decent punch for the price. If you are looking to pick up a new device, and want something Eco-Friendly that won't break the bank, this may be for you. Stay tuned for our full review in the coming weeks!

So this week was HTC week, and there was no shortage of stories about the launch of HTC's new hero devices, the One X and One S. We had reviews, previews, hands-on features, comparisons and everything in between. If you want to learn more about HTC's shiny new toys (and trust us, you do), be sure to check out the features list below.

Both devices are out now in Europe, and every major network in the UK is offering the both phones on-contract at subsidized prices. Stateside, the One S is rumored to launch on T-Mobile in late April, with the One X tipped to follow shortly after in early May.

In non-HTC news, Motorola revealed that the GSM/HSPA RAZR MAXX would be making its way to European shores from May. Consider our interest piqued. We're eager to see what kind of longevity Moto can deliver with a 3,300mAh pack and no battery-hogging LTE radio.

Android Central international round-up - 21 April 2012

This week marked the beginning of the Official Countdown to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III. Events press event in London on 3 may, began to roll Monday (we ' ll be there, of course), and Friday, we had a lot of juicy pieces of information disclosed in the report.

Secret Cupertinoesque Samsung ' phone s following Lighthouse (whose name we ' re not always not entirely sure) finally faltered Friday, with the one leak and a video of demi-minute a site Vietnamese tech, with 10 photos. But here ' s where things get interesting - phone ' s final design is being hidden behind a fake case plastic, therefore even if the software and specifications were bare, even don ' t know exactly what this thing looks like when it comes to the market. We ' ll be wait and see what Samsung shows us may 3, to continue to monitor in the coming weeks!

It wasn ' t all Samsung to the international Bureau, this week, though. Also, we published our review of the HTC a V, the new entry-level HTC device ' s line-up 2012. We found that although some features have been reduced to a x and S, it again for a solid budget offer, although it ' ll face difficult competition discount 2011 headlights in the coming months.

LG Viper may be available in Sprint locations starting April 22

Sprint has already announced that the LG Viper pre-orders will begin tomorrow, but what they managed to leave out was the actual date it would arrive in stores. The only information given was that it would be later this month, but the folks at Engadget received a tip today that puts it in store on April 22. This date could make sense being as it would be 10 days after the start of the pre-order, and it falls on a Sunday which is a common day for new phones to enter the market. While this is still unofficial at this point, we can cross our fingers that it is the day, and Sprint will make it official soon as well.

X an at & T pré-commandes start April 22 to Radio Shack, it pick up for $149

We have just a few goodies in the mail the x a HTC for AT & t of Radio Shack and look of good things. The phone be place pre-order April 22, will cost $149 if pre-ordered and will be available on May 6. In addition, guests can use a receipt code to get free downloads of seven Coldplay songs, including a live recording of Radio Shack exclusive of "Charlie Brown".

The documents tell us that Radio Shack employees will be receive intensive training on the x into one and be able to answer any question, that the client can run on them. He ' s also a list of accessory and shields Zagg will be available at launch with cases come in May.

We ' ve since international version with a fine tooth comband we ' re, excited as you, people get to get our hands on the AT & T version. Official: AT&T’s HTC One X to launch on May 6th for $199 – pre-orders start April 22nd

AT&T has finally announced that the HTC One X will launch on May 6th with pre-orders kicking off on April 22nd. The price of the HTC One X is set at $199.99 with a two-year contract, matching Sprint’s asking price for the slightly better equipped HTC EVO 4G LTE.  The press release does not mention what color options the HTC One X will be available in, but images on AT&T’s site show both the white and black versions of the device.

While AT&T is calling their phone the HTC One X, it is in fact the HTC One XL which features a dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor instead of the quad-core Tegra 3 chip used to power the international version of the One X. HTC has chosen to use the Qualcomm chip on HTC’s version of the One X since it features integrated LTE support, boosting battery efficiency.

Max Payne Mobile coming to Android April 26th

If you dig third-person shooter games then chances are you've checked out Max Payne at some point since its original release in 2001 and now, Rockstar Games is taking Max Payne to new territory. As announced on their blog, Max Payne Mobile will be arriving on Android devices come April 26th and will feature the full classic game optimized for mobile experiences and include HD graphics, high-resolution textures, Social Club connectivity and user-customizable controls. Sadly, Rockstar has yet to announce which devices will be compatible at launch but that will come soon enough and it should be a broad range.

HTCSense.com sync service shutting down from April 30 to make way for new cloud services

The message above is currently displayed on HTCSense.com, informing visitors that HTC's online sync service will be shutting down from April 30. This gives HTCSense.com users just over a month to log in and download any contacts, text messages or other personal data on their account. The message is also being sent out by email to HTCSense.com account holders.

HTC says the move away from HTCSense.com is part of the transition to "new and improved" online services it's working on. With carriers preparing to launch the One X in Europe in just over a week, we'd guess that phone may be the first to see whatever HTC's cooking up.

In addition to the purge of personal data, HTC tells us that the online security and backup services are currently unavailable too, and that users should head to Google Play to download a replacement. Security apps like Lookout offer similar services, for a price.

In the meantime, we'll have to wait and see what HTC's future cloud plans entail. And we'll be hoping that the new service is a little more reliable than HTCSense.com. In our experience the service, which first launched on the Desire HD in late 2010, was temperamental at the best of times.
